Ohio man pleads guilty in meth case
IRONTON -- A Hanging Rock man was sentenced Thursday in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court to four years in prison after pleading guilty in a meth case shortly before his trial was to start.
Michael Chatfield, 30, of Daniels Drive, Hanging Rock, pleaded guilty to attempted manufacturing of methamphetamine, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacturing of drugs, and possession of criminal tools.
Judge Charles "Chuck" Cooper sentenced Chatfield to four years in prison and suspended his driver's license for three years.
