TV, computer taken from South Point home

IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports:

BURGLARY: A 48-year-old South Point area man reported last week that someone stole a flat-screen television, a laptop computer and a DVD/VCR combo player. The items were valued at $1,650.

BURGLARY: A 37-year-old South Point area woman reported last week that someone broke into her residence in Perry Township and took her purse that contained $21 in cash and a credit card. $100 that was on a coffee table in the living room also was reported stolen.

THEFT: A 39-year-old Proctorville area man reported last week that someone stole $6,650 worth of medical supplies from his vehicle in Rome Township.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 33-year-old Scottown area woman reported earlier this month that her live-in boyfriend became upset and smacked her in the left side of her forehead and then unplugged the phone so she couldn't notify authorities.

The man left before authorities arrived.

FAILURE TO RESTRAIN A VICIOUS DOG: A 51-year-old Ironton woman was cited into court on a charge of failure to restrain vicious dogs. The woman has three Siberian huskies that killed two neighbor dogs on the neighbor's property.
