Two men arrested on drug charges in Portsmouth
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Two Dayton, Ohio, men were arrested over the weekend in Portsmouth and charged with trafficking in heroin, according to a news release from the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force.
Davion L. Carson, 19, and Keysaun C. Harris, 18, both of Dayton, were arrested about 12:20 a.m. Sunday inside an apartment in the 800 block of 10th Street in Portsmouth, according to Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware and Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini.
The men were charged with trafficking in heroin, and possession of heroin and transported to the Scioto County Jail.
Carson has a previous arrest last month on a charge that he possessed 51 grams of suspected heroin and a firearm in Scioto County, according to the release.
During a search of the apartment, officers turned up 30 grams of suspected heroin, digital scales and $2,328 in cash. The heroin had an estimated street value of $4,800.
