Two arrested on drug charges
LUCASVILLE, Ohio -- Two people have been arrested on drug charges after being stopped by troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, according to a news release.
Bruce Daugherty Jr., 30, and Olivia Peacock, 21, both of Trotwood, Ohio, were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of heroin. The drugs had an estimated street value of $3,625, according to the release.
Troopers with the Portsmouth Post stopped a 2012 Mazda for a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle turned up 18 grams of heroin and 11 grams of cocaine, according to the release.
The two were transported to the Scioto County Jail.
