Eastern Mining Collectors Association to host spring meet
OLIVE HILL, Ky. -- The Eastern Mining Collectors Association will hold its 3rd annual Spring Meet and Show at Carter Caves State Resort Park on April 5.
Vendors from across the country will be able to buy and trade artifacts used in the mining of coal, gold, silver and copper, according to a news release from the Kentucky Department of Parks.
Two groups working to preserve coal mining heritage will give a presentation at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, April 5. The show is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 5. The show is free and open to the public.
