3 booked on felony charges
BARBOURSVILLE -- Three people were booked into the Western Regional Jail on Saturday morning on felony charges, according to jail personnel.
Justin Alex Pettaway, 25, was charged with escape, obstruction, felony cruelty to animals, wanton endangerment, brandishing, being a felon in possession of a firearm and domestic assault. He was arrested in Cabell County by West Virginia State Police.
Christopher Shawn Sipes, 23, was charged with domestic violence, possession of controlled substances, driving on a revoked/suspended license and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. He was arrested by Lincoln County sheriff's deputies.
Darrell Lee Guthrie, 42, was arrested by Cabell County sheriff's deputies on a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm. No bond initially was set in the cases.
