PROCTORVILLE, Ohio -- The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a project to replace a bridge on Ohio 7 over Indian Guyan Creek a half-mile north of Ohio 243 in Union Township, according to a news release.

Some small trees and bushes will be removed as part of the project, however, none of the trees have habitat for the federally endangered Indiana Bat. No homes, businesses or structures will be removed as part of the project, according to the release.

Written comments on the project should be submitted by July 22 to Greg Manson, ODOT District 9 Environmental Supervisor, P.O. Bo 467, 650 Eastern Avenue, Chillicothe, Ohio, 45601. Additional information is available at www.dot.state.oh.us/districts/D09/Pages/Public-Involvement-Process.aspx.
