Informational meeting to announce grant programs
WILLOW WOOD, Ohio -- The Southern Ohio Agriculture and Community Development Foundation will have an informational meeting to announce grant programs at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Symmes Valley High School.
Details will be shared regarding the Ag Development and Young Farmer Competitive Grants.
Eligible Ag Development applicants are tobacco quota owners and/or growers in the 1997-2004 seasons as verified by FSA records, according to a news release.
Young Farmers are between 20 and 38 years old as of Aug. 1, 2013, and they must live in and the project must be located within the 22 counties the Foundation serves.
Applications, including a business plan, for both Ag Development and Young Farmer grants are due in August.
