Detroit man indicted on trafficking charge

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County grand jury returned more than a dozen indictments this week, most of them in drug cases.

Roy A. Griffin III, 23, of Detroit, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance, according to the office of Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.

Yvonne S. Grays, 35, of Detroit, was indicted on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

David B. Strader, 34, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Paul J. Wellman, 18,, of Inez, Ky., was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Lester L.. Wellman, 20, of Inez, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Albert E. Canterbury, 39, of Fort Gay, W.Va., was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a meth precursor.

Sherman Holland III, 42, of Fort Gay, was indicted on a charge of unlawful possession of a meth precursor.

Dustin Mullins, 32, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Erica A. Glover, 25, of Detroit, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Anthony Salyer, 48, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on charges of assault, wanton endangerment and being a persistent felony offender.

Joe Davis, 41, of Rush, was indicted on a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

Michael Alber, 46, of Greenup, Ky., was indicted on a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

Laurel G. Vaughn, 37, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

Jeffrey K. Robinson, 26, of Grayson, Ky., was indicted on charge of receiving stolen property (a firearm).
