Two Detroit teens arrested in Scioto drug case on Wednesday
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Two Detroit teenagers were arrested Wednesday afternoon in a drug case, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers stopped a 2012 Chevrolet Impala on U.S. 23 in the Rosemount area at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday for traffic violations. Troopers searched the vehicle and found 150 30-milligram oxycodone pills with a street value of $4,500, according to the release.
Dalana B. Boggon, 18, and Jermal L. Cannon, 18, both of Detroit, were charged with possession of drugs. While Bogggon was cited into court and released Cannon, was transported to the Scioto County Jail.
