2 arrested on charges of burglary, assault

IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Office reports:

AGGRAVATED BURGLARY: A 22-year-old Chesapeake area man reported last week that two people accosted him with a shotgun and he took it away from them and called authorities.

Sheriff's deputies responding to a call of shots fired arrested Gloria D. Cline, 39, of South Point, and Christopher T. Timmins, 35, of Ironton, on charges of aggravated burglary, felonious assault and using weapons while intoxicated. Both were transported to jail.

BURGLARY: A 34-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported Saturday that a man came into her motel room without permission and solicited sex. A sheriff's deputy arrested Quinten R. Johnson, 49, of Chesapeake, on a charge of burglary.

BURGLARY: A 34-year-old Pedro area man reported earlier this month that someone broke into several building on his property in Elizabeth Township and stole tools and sheet metal valued at $3,085.

BURGLARY: A 39-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported earlier this month that someone broke into her residence in Union Township and stole a television and an X-box. The items were valued at $3,500.

ESCAPE: A man working on a work crew for Ironton Municipal Court walked away from a work detail earlier this month. He was identified as Noah Daniel Lambert, 34, of Jordan Drive, Ashland.

BURGLARY: A 41-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported earlier this month that someone stole jewelry valued at $3,070 from a safe in her residence in Union Township.

BURGLARY: A 58-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported last week that someone stole a flat-screen television valued at $330.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 30-year-old South Point area man reported last week that someone broke into his out building in Perry Township and stole tools and fishing equipment. The items were valued at $2,150.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: A 72-year-old Pedro area man reported last week that someone stole a 2012 Polaris ATV valued at $8,000 from his barn in Aid Township.

BURGLARY: A 37-year-old Proctorville area man reported last week that someone stole a .22 caliber pistol, a digital camera and $30 in change in Rome Township.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 23-year-old Huntington woman reported earlier this month that her husband choked her and kicked her in the ribs, chest and stomach. A 53-year-old South Point area man was arrested on a charge of domestic violence and transported to jail.
