South Point woman says boyfriend forced entry

IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports:

AGGRAVATED BURGLARY: A 51-year-old South Point woman reported last week that her boyfriend forced his way into her home, threw some possessions around, and tossed a television down the stairs. She said she went to the apartment next door, but he tried to get into that apartment and threatened residents there. She said he then knocked out several windows in her vehicle before leaving.

BURGLARY: A 55-year-old Willow Wood area man reported last week that someone stole his wallet from his home. It contained $100 in cash. Some hand-held video games also were reported stolen.

BURGLARY: Several neighbors reported seeing a woman knock out a window and try to climb into an apartment in Perry Township last week. The woman left before authorities arrived.

THEFT: An Ashland woman reported that someone broke out the window to her vehicle at the Lake Vesuvius parking lot and stole her purse and phone. Deputies arrested Bradley Harrison, 28, of Hogset Hollow, Ironton, and Jonathan Bailey, 27, of the 700 block of S. 9th Street, Ironton, on charges of theft and transported them to jail. Harrison also was charged with criminal damaging and misuse of a credit card.

BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 51-year-old Kitts Hill area man reported last week that someone stole some tools and two compound bows in Lawrence Township. The items were valued at $700.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT: A 51-year-old Chesapeake area man reported last week that someone stole a 2005 ATV valued at $3,500 from his property in Union Township.

THEFT: A 48-year-old Ironton area man reported last week that someone stole 12 game roosters from his property in Perry Township.
