Woman arrested on heroin charges
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- A 29-year-old Portsmouth, Ohio, woman was arrested Thursday afternoon by members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force on heroin charges, according to the office of Scioto County Sheriff Marty V. Donini.
Jamie D. Craft, 29, of the 500 block of Broadway Street, Portsmouth was charged with trafficking in heroin in the first degree and in the fifth degree, possession of heroin, conspiracy to trafficking in heroin and tampering with evidence.
She was arrested about 12:25 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop. Authorities confiscated less than a gram of heroin. She was transported to the Scioto County Jail.
