More than $10,000 in tools stolen from utility trailer
IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports:
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A Huntington man reported more than $10,000 worth of tools missing from his enclosed utility trailer parked at DVR Storage, South Point. He was last at the trailer in September. There are no suspects.
PETTY THEFT: A 67-year-old Ironton man reported $500 missing from his pants pocket on New Year's Eve night. There are no suspects.
ASSAULT: A 26-year-old Chesapeake man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 1-year-old child, after a family member informed the child's mother the man had violently shaken the child on Dec. 31.
THEFT: BBR Drilling Company Inc. of Belmont, Ohio, reported a Bobcat S250 Skid Loader with a value of $44,000 was stolen from a construction site located at County Road 2 and Ohio 775.
BURGLARY: Two guns were reported missing on Jan. 2 by a Kitts Hill man. There are no suspects.
