Chesapeake United Methodist to welcome Indiana vocal group
CHESAPEAKE -- Chesapeake United Methodist Church is hosting the men's vocal group, Redeemed, from Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind., at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3.
Everyone is welcome to attend; a free love offering will be taken.
Redeemed, the newest vocal ministry team at Indiana Wesleyan, blends the voices of five men to perform a cappella, southern gospel, and traditional hymn arrangements, with a newer upbeat sound.
Members of Redeemed are: Brandon Lee of Hilliard, Ohio; Anthony Fetterhoff of Cherryville, Pa.; Luke Garfield of Crystal Lake, Ill.; Bryce Joyner, of Summitville, Ind., and Zachary Koch of Parchment, Mich.
Indiana Wesleyan University is an evangelical Christian comprehensive university that was founded in 1920 and is committed to liberal arts and professional education. The University is sponsored by The Wesleyan Church, which has its world headquarters in Indianapolis. Indiana Wesleyan offers more than 70 majors. There are 2,999 students on IWU's main campus in Marion, while more than 8,104 students are enrolled in adult and professional studies programs throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Graduate students total 4,477.
