Ohio woman sentenced to 5 years

IRONTON -- A South Point area woman was sentenced Wednesday to five years in prison on a drug case in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.
Heather Ratliff, 29, of Private Drive 2823, South Point, pleaded guilty to a charge of complicity to trafficking in drugs. Judge D. Scott Bowling sentenced her to prison, fined her $20,000 and suspended her driver's license for a year.
In other cases:
Hank Starr, 48, of County Road 56, South Point, was sentenced to prison for a year for violating community control sanctions.
Cassandra Frazier, 23, of the 400 block of Walnut Street, Ironton, was sentenced to six months in prison for possession of drugs. Her driver's license also was suspended for six months, and she was fined $1,500.
Jeremy McMillian, 30, of the 3700 block of S. 3rd Street, Ironton, admitted violating community control sanctions and was sentenced to 60 days in jail and ordered to perform 100 hours of community service.
Terry L. Gibson, 22, of the 900 block of Washington Street, Flatwoods, Ky., was sentenced to 21 days in jail, ordered to do 100 hours of community service and placed on an ankle monitor for two months.
Darrell C. Gore, 50, of Township Road 616, South Point, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of receiving stolen property. Bowling ordered a presentencing investigation and set final sentencing for Feb. 27. Gore initially was charged with burglary. He faces a maximum 18-month prison sentence.
Brandi Traylor, 30, of the 3700 block of S. 3rd Street, Ironton, pleaded innocent to theft of drugs. Bond was set at $15,000. A pretrial was set for March 13.
