Olsen turns 100

Zelma Wetzbarger Olsen, a resident of River's Bend Health Care, will celebrate a century of life on Thursday, Dec. 6, according to a news release from the center.

Earlier this year, on June 16, 49 members of her family, who had arrived from West Virginia, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, honored Zelma with an early 100th birthday party and reunion. Another, smaller party is planned for today, Dec. 6. Olsen is originally from Redfield, S.D., where her sister Maxine still lives.

"I've had a long, good life and raised good children," Olsen said in the news release. "I'm proud of all my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
