Fugitive captured in Lawrence County, Ohio
IRONTON — A man wanted by police in Kentucky and Ohio has been taken into custody.
Gregory Cox, 32, was arrested late Thursday night in Lawrence County, Ohio, according to the U.S. Marshals Service C.U.F.F.E.D. Task Force.
The Ashland Police Department put out a bulletin Wednesday evening for Cox’s arrest. The agency’s post said Cox was auto theft, fleeing police and two counts of wanton endangerment. It further said he had similar charges in Lawrence County, Ohio.
Authorities had considered Cox a dangerous flight risk. Indications are his arrest occurred without incident.
