More than 20 are indicted on drug-related charges

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- More than 20 people have been indicted on drug-related charges, according to a news release Monday from the office of Boyd County Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.

The grand jury returned 24 indictments, and 22 of them concerned drug charges alleging trafficking in cocaine, heroin or Oxycontin.

Ricky L. Collins, 37, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Samantha Roberts, 23, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Erica M. Steele, 29, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Richard A. Selvage, 30, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Edgar Nelson, 47, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Robert J. Westmoreland, 34, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Julia A. Smith, 25, of Flatwoods, Ky., was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Heather M. Martin, 33, of Ironton was indicted on three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Kathy L. Gannon, 57, of South Point was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Christine A. Johnson, 43, of Ashland was indicted on four counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Katrina M. Harris, 51, of Ironton was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Jerome D. Elson, 38, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Jessica R. Vannatter, 34, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Brian L. Vannatter, 37, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Clayton A. Pate, 29, of Ashland was indicted on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Joshua A. Gamble, 27, of Wurtland, Ky., was indicted on charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and being a persistent felony offender.

Thomas E. Gamble Jr., 30, of Greenup, Ky., was indicted on three counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Roger D. Moore, 51, no address listed, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Sharon Bustetter, 47, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Joyce N. Puryear, 37, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Lisa A. Adams, 41, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

Ronald S. Bland, 23, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance.

James R. Bailey, 32, of Coal Grove, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

Terrence K. Cochran, 34, of Ashland was indicted on a charge of being a persistent felony offender.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
