Ironton area man reports theft of HD-TV, Blu-ray

IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Office reports:

BURGLARY: A 46-year-old Ironton area man reported last week that someone stole an HD-TV, a Blu-ray player and some DVDs from a residence in Hamilton Township.

THEFT: A 44-year-old Ironton area woman reported last week that someone stole her lawnmower in Perry Township.

BURGLARY: An 85-year-old Proctorville area man reported last month that someone stole his wallet that contained several credit cards and $200 in cash.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven R. Douglas, 30, of County Road 52, Ironton, on a charge of receiving stolen property and transported him to jail.

THEFT: A 62-year-old Decatur Township man reported last week that someone stole miscellaneous tools valued at $1,500.

HAVING WEAPONS WHILE UNDER DISABILITY: Sheriff's deputies arrested David B. Kyle, 47, of Chesapeake, on a charge of having weapons while under disability and injuring animals after receiving a call about a man shooting a dog.
