N.C. woman killed in Portsmouth accident
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- A North Carolina woman has died from injuries she suffered in an accident on Sunday in West Portsmouth, Ohio, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Martha Holster, 64, of Sanford, N.C., died Monday at Cabell Huntington Hospital, according to the release.
The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. Sunday along Ohio 73. It involved Holster's 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a 2001 Chevy Cavalier driven by Delores Hall, 74 of New Boston, Ohio.
Hall was taken to Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth with non-life threatening injuries, the release said.
Washington Township EMS treated both victims at the scene.
