Fayette resident reports gun theft
IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports:
BURGLARY: A 20-year old man reported on Dec. 2 that someone stole two guns from his residence in Fayette Township on Nov. 28. He initially thought a family member had taken them.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 22-year old Ironton woman and her sister were arrested without incident after a fight occurred between the two.
ASSAULT AND MENACING: A female Speedway employee in South Point reported she was assaulted on Dec. 2 by two women. Officers spoke with the two suspects.
ASSAULT AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A 28-year old Rome Township woman reported her boyfriend assaulted her. A male suspect was arrested at the scene.
ASSAULT AND OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE: A 49-year old Perry Township resident reported an assault behind Leo's Carry Out, South Point. A male suspect was arrested at the scene.
PETTY THEFT: A female suspect was arrested for petty theft and resisting arrest after attempting to steal weight-loss pills from the South Point Walmart.
VANDALISM: A 65-year old South Point man reported that his vehicle was vandalized on Dec. 2 by his girlfriend's husband.
BURGLARY: A resident at Sheridan Manor Apartments reported that a TV and desktop computer were stolen on Dec. 2. There are no suspects.
CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A South Point resident reported his truck was damaged at his residence on Dec. 4.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A South Point woman reported assault after her son hit her in the nose with an object.
