IRONTON -- Four people named in secret indictments last month on drug charges have been arrested in the past two days in the South Point area, according to Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson.

Danny Jones, 27, and his wife, Rachel Jones, 28, who were living at the Grandview Inn in the Sheridan area, were arrested Thursday. Holly Ployer, 32, and Stephanie Tucker, 35, both of Township Road 1366, South Point, were arrested Wednesday, according to a news release.

During the arrest Thursday, two weapons were recovered, along with a handgun reportedly stolen from Huntington in 2005, according to the release. Authorities with the Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes Task Force recovered 83 oxycodone pills with a street value of about $2,500, according to the release.

Danny Jones was charged with three counts of trafficking in drugs while Rachel Jones was charged with four counts of trafficking in drugs, Anderson said. He faces a maximum 15-year prison sentence if convicted while she faces a maximum of 11-and-a-half years in prison if convicted.

Ployer was charged with three counts of trafficking in drugs while Tucker was charged with two counts of trafficking in drugs. Ployer faces a maximum prison sentence of four years if convicted, while Tucker faces a maximum sentence, if convicted, of two-and-a-half years.

Anderson said he will take possible charges concerning the stolen firearm and other felony drug charges to an upcoming grand jury.
