Roads to close to repair landslides in Ohio
IRONTON -- Road closures are scheduled to begin Monday, Jan. 14, along County Road 7A (Willis Road) and County Road 6 (Deering-Bald Knob Road) for landslide repair projects.
County Road 6 will close in the 7000 block for about 90 days while the 200 block County Road 7A will be subject to temporary closures for 30 days, according to Lawrence County Engineer Doug Cade.
The two roads were among more than 150 landslides that occurred due to heavy rains in the spring of 2011, Cade said.
