Sale of alcoholic beverages up for vote
GREENUP, Ky. -- Greenup County voters will go to the polls Tuesday, Jan. 22, to decide whether they will approve the sale of alcoholic beverages in the county.
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The city of Russell earlier approved alcoholic beverage sales at restaurants, but thus far no restaurants have applied for a city license.
Currently, alcoholic beverage sales are prohibited in Greenup County.
