Ky. man arrested on drug trafficking charge
ASHLAND -- An Ashland man was arrested following an undercover drug buy from the Boyd County Sheriff's Department Drug Task Force, according to a news release.
Danny J. Halley II, 18, of the 1800 block of Hickman Street, Ashland, was arrested Wednesday evening on charges of trafficking in the first degree, fleeing and evading, and resisting arrest, according to the release. He was transported to the Boyd County Detention Center.
He is charged with selling 30 milligram tablets to an undercover officer. When deputies approached the suspect, he fled on foot. Deputies caught up with him several blocks later in the 3100 block of Carter Avenue where he attempted to resist arrest, according to the release.
