Mitt Romney schedules stop at Shawnee State in Portsmouth
PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Mitt Romney, the Republican candidate for president, will be heading to Shawnee State University in Portsmouth on Saturday.
Romney is scheduled to be at the university at 2 p.m. Saturday, according to Ray T. "Moose" Dutey, chairman of the Lawrence County Republican executive committee. Ohio is considered one of 10 battleground states in this year's presidential election.
Four years ago, President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton and Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain all made campaign stops in Portsmouth.
Vice President Joe Biden visited Scioto County last month.
