King's Daughters opens new location in Proctorville

ASHLAND -- King's Daughters Medical Center opened a new location in Proctorville, Ohio on Monday, Oct. 31.

The facility offers both primary care and cardiology at the location in the Kroger plaza, 6276 County Road 107.

With family nurse practitioner Jan Rule and cardiologist Tina Sias, M.D., the new location offers complete family care as well as specialized services for heart patients, including:

Cardiac stress testing



Holter monitoring

ABI studies

Laboratory draw

Mobile mammography

MyChart electronic health record.

Rule will see patients for their primary care needs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Rule has been with King's Daughters since 2005, during which time she cared for critically ill medical, surgical and neurosurgical patients. She earned both her Master's in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from Marshall University.

Sias recently joined the Kentucky Heart Institute and King's Daughters Medical Center from Marshall University, where she was professor of medicine and director of nuclear cardiology in the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.

She earned her medical degree from Marshall University in 1992, and completed internship and residency at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She completed fellowship training in cardiology at Marshall. Dr. Sias is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in cardiovascular disease.
