Indictments returned in Lawrence County

IRONTON -- A Lawrence County grand jury returned 15 indictments Tuesday including two sealed drug indictments and another indictment that will be released Wednesday, according to the office of Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney J.B. Collier Jr.

Indicted were:

Jeffrey S. Adkins, 43, of the 1500 block of South 4th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence.

Virgil L. Cole, 39, of County Road 14, Pedro, was indicted on charges of aggravated vehicular assault and violating a protection order.

Shawn L. Davis, 24, of Township Road 1340, South Point, was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs.

Tomika J. Jordan, 32, of Southfield, Mich., was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs and possession of drugs.

Keith E. Johnson, 48, of the 1100 block of South 4th Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of having weapons while under disability.

Joshua E. Fout, 23, of Township Road 177, Willow Wood, was indicted on a charge of tampering with evidence.

Donald R. Malone, 54, of Township Road 357, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of grand theft.

Ashley D. Poff/Dodson, 25, of Township Road 1430, South Point, was indicted on charges of forgery and theft.

Kandas B. Johnson, 28, of the 2400 block of South 6th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of identity fraud and falsification.

Shane F. Lemley, 38, of County Road 775, Proctorville, was indicted on a charge of theft from the elderly.

Paul Jeffrey Waginger, 25, of Worthington, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of breaking and entering.

Dock L. Pippens, 67, of Columbus, was indicted on a charge of possession of drugs.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
