South Point man sentenced to 10 years
IRONTON -- A 46-year-old South Point man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to four counts of gross sexual imposition, according to the office of Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson.
Greg Knipp pleaded guilty in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court to abusing two girls, aged 9 and 11, according to Mike Gleichauf, an assistant county prosecutor.
Judge Charles "Chuck" Cooper sentenced Knipp to prison. He also named Knipp a Tier II sexual offender for 25 years, according to a news release.
