Man reports shotgun stolen from home in Perry Township

IRONTON -- The following information was compiled from Lawrence County Sheriff's Office reports:

BURGLARY: A 66-year-old South Point area man reported last week that someone stole a .12 gauge shotgun from his home in Perry Township.

THEFT: A 76-year-old Chesapeake area man reported last week that someone stole parts from a 1950 model Dodge truck.

THEFT: A 30-year-old Proctorville area woman reported Sunday someone stole a pop-up camper valued at $1,100 in Rome Township.

THEFT: A 31-year-old Chesapeake area woman reported last week that someone stole a laptop computer, a drill, a camera, an iPhone and $240 in cash from her home in Union Township.

FORGERY: A 47-year-old Willow Wood area man reported Sunday that someone stole four checks and cashed them to buy drugs. A sheriff's deputy arrested Leo A. Ulery, 19, of Willow Wood, was arrested on charges of theft and forgery and transported to jail.

PROTECTION ORDER: A sheriff's deputy arrested a 57-year-old Chesapeake man Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of violation of a protection order after he kept texting a former girlfriend after an order was issued.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A sheriff's deputy arrested a 29-year-old Huntington woman Saturday on charges of domestic violence, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia in Rome Township and transported her to jail.

CRIMINAL DAMAGING: A sheriff's deputy arrested a 27-year-old South Point area man last week on misdemeanor charges of criminal damaging and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and transported him to jail.
