Flatwoods man indicted on robbery, assault charges

IRONTON -- A Lawrence County grand jury returned more than 25 indictments Monday on charges ranging from burglary to felonious assault to theft.

The following were named in the indictments:

David W. Farris, 51, of the 1400 block of Bellefonte Road, Flatwoods, Ky., was indicted on charges of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault.

Nicholas C. McCreary, 23, of the 300 block of 2nd Street, Altizer, Huntington, was indicted on three counts of burglary and resisting arrest.

Christy L. Stone, 29, of the 100 block of Ellis Drive, Proctorville, was indicted on three counts of complicity to burglary.

Kathy A. Ross, 31, of County Road 5, Pedro, was indicted on three counts of burglary.

Michael E. Pennisten, 20, of the 100 block of 7th Street, South Point, was indicted on charges of burglary and theft.

David M. Johnson, 31, of the 100 block of Ridgeway Street, Coal Grove, was indicted on a charge of felonious assault.

Michael E. Castle, 30, of County Road 1A, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of burglary.

Karen K. Holroyd, 23, of South 3rd Street, Ironton, was indicted on two counts of felonious assault.

Reynault P. Danos, 31, of Ohio 93, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of gross sexual imposition and failure to register.

John D. Lawson, 28, of Township Road 1010, Chesapeake, was indicted on a charge of felonious assault.

Candy J. Robinson, 25, of Township Road 1186, Apt. 9, South Point, was charged with endangering children.

Andrew A. McClain, 22, of the 800 block of Lawrence Street, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of endangering children.

Carlton A. Davis, 38, of the 300 block of Washington Street, Coal Grove, was indicted on a charge of escape.

Brittany N. Lyons, 20, of the 100 block of Rowe Street, Coal Grove, was indicted on a charge of escape.

Frank Zeigler, 48, of the 1200 block of South 5th Street, Ironton, was charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs.

Amanda L. Blake, 29, of the 800 block of South 9th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in drugs.

Timothy L. Murdock, 45, of Ohio 141, Willow Wood, was indicted on charges of arson and theft.

Kevin B. Pennington, 20, of Township Road 108, Ironton, was indicted on charges of breaking and entering and grand theft.

George E. Clutters, 53, of the 2400 block of South 5th Street, Ironton, was indicted on charges of possession of crack cocaine, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

Ronald A. Witherel, 32, of Township Road 212 North, Willow Wood, was indicted on two counts of domestic violence, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

Charles P. Webb, 20, of the 1300 block of Beverly Boulevard, Ashland, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear.

Robert A. Belle, 27, of the 100 block of North Jones Street, Proctorville, was indicted on a charge of theft of drugs and theft by deception.

Okey Thomas Newsom, 49, of Wellington, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of forgery.

Michael B. Webb, 28, of Private Drive 196, Township 111, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of theft.

Richard L. Maze, 22, of the 4900 block of Sunset Drive, Huntington, was indicted on two counts of breaking and entering.

Cole Y. Friend, 22, of Big Doney Road, Ironton, was indicted on a charge of theft.

Bradley J. Wilson, 36, of Private Drive 9555, South Point, was indicted on felony driving under the influence.

Robert B. Williams, 28, of the 100 block of Fernwood Drive, Coal Grove, was indicted on a charge of felony driving under the influence.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
