Meth bust nets three Ky. arrests
SUMMIT, Ky. -- Responding to a call of a drug overdose shortly before midnight Tuesday, Boyd County sheriff's deputies found meth-making materials and made several arrests, according to a news release.
Carrie T. Reedy, 32, of Little Garner Road, Ashland, was charged with possession of meth precursors. She was unconscious when deputies arrived and someone was administering CPR on her, according to the release. Deputies were told she overdosed on heroin, according to the release.
She was transported by ambulance to King's Daughters Medical Center.
Justin R. Watts, 29, of the 3700 block of Cannonsburg Road, Catlettsburg, was arrested on a charge of trafficking in heroin.
Another person at the residence fled on foot when deputies arrived. The man was identified as David L.White, 30, of the 3700 block of Cannonsburg Road, Catlettsburg, according to the release.
He was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home on Cannonsburg Road on a charge of violating parole, according to the release.
