Domestic violence services to be counted
ASHLAND -- Safe Harbor of Northeast Kentucky will participate in the national census of domestic violence services starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17.
The 24-hour count will focus on adults and children who receive services from domestic violence programs, according to a news release.
Last year, Safe Harbor was among 1,646 domestic violence programs that participated in the census. The survey is used in state and federal funding for domestic violence programs.
