Sep. 17, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

GREENUP, Ky. -- The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety will bring a distracted driving simulator to Greenup County High School on Thursday, Sept. 19, according to a news release.

The distracted driving awareness program is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The simulator gives real-life exposure to the dangers of distracted driving without putting students at risk. Drivers can receive and send phone calls and text messages while attempting to obey the rules of the road, according to the release.
