Art show winners announced

IRONTON -- The Ironton Artists Association says its 38th Annual Fall Art Show on Saturday, Oct. 6, was a big success.

The association said in a press release that its members wish to thank all the businesses that purchased art and made the show so successful. Thanks are also extended to Central Christian Church and the Ladies Christian Service for providing the space, decorations and food.

"Thanks to the Greater Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Betty Fields and Mayne Framing Supply for donations that made it possible to put the show on," the Association said in a press release. "We want to thank the 34 artists that entered 132 two pieces of art, Tom Suter for judging, the IAA members that worked hard and provided 34 door prizes and the public that came to see the show and purchase art.
