Man to remain on home confinement in '11 crash
HUNTINGTON -- A judge Monday ordered that a Chesapeake, Ohio, man remain on home confinement as he awaits indictment on a drunken driving arrest.
It stems from a Nov. 30, 2011, incident when a Ford F-150 hit a parked van along 10th Street and crashed into a bank at its intersection with 3rd Avenue. The back-to-back incidents happened just after midnight.
Criminal complaints state Andrew Brown's blood-alcohol content measured at 0.242, or about three times higher than the legal limit of 0.08.
Officers charged Brown with felony third-offense driving under the influence and multiple misdemeanors. The incident marked Brown's third alcohol-related driving arrest since May 2007 and his second in approximately 16 months.
