Man indicted on rape charges

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County grand jury returned 17 indictments Monday on charges ranging from robbery to manufacturing meth, according to the office of Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.

Chester D. Napier, 43, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of rape and being a persistent felony offender.

Anthony Huff, 31, of Otway, Ohio, was indicted on three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.

Hank A. Jones, 18, of Lucasville, Ohio, was indicted on three counts of burglary and three counts of theft.

Melissa D. Keating, 31, of Ironton, was indicted on three counts of complicity to commit burglary and three counts of complicity to theft.

Shelly M. Stidham, 19, of New Boston, Ohio, was indicted on three counts of complicity to commit burglary and three counts of complicity to commit theft.

Amanda Adams, 31, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of burglary, theft and being a persistent felony offender.

Michael Rice, 27, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of burglary and theft.

Gabriel K. Battise, 21, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of robbery.

Laci E. Fraley, 30, of Rush, Ky., was indicted on a charge of manufacturing meth.

Christopher G. Caudill, 36, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of assault and being a persistent felony offender.

Jeremy L. Campbell, 31, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of theft and operating a vehicle on a suspended/revoked license.

Lori Salyers, 41, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on a charge of promoting contraband.

Les E. Hensley, 32, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of theft.

Ronald McWhorter, 42, of Rush, Ky., was indicted on a charge of flagrant nonsupport.

Kara D. Williams, 26, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on a charge of flagrant nonsupport.

Antonio Caldwell, 29, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of flagrant nonsupport.

Lisa A. Morris, 34, of Rush, Ky., was indicted on a charge of flagrant nonsupport.

An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
