Proctorville seventh-grader places second in regional spelling bee

At least that's how Holli Leep, a seventh-grader at Fairland Middle School in Proctorville, wishes she had spelled the word with a French origin meaning a narrow trimming of lace. She said when someone is looking at the letters on paper it seems an easy enough word, but on stage, under the bright lights, things become more difficult.
