IRONTON - As costs continue to mount, Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless said Thursday he isn't sure he'll have enough money to open a new jail at the former youth prison in Franklin Furnace, Ohio.
Lawrence County will need to get a new county engineer when Doug Cade moves with his family to Findlay, Ohio, later this year.
A South Point, Ohio, man was sentenced to three years in prison for failing to comply with the order or signal of a police officer Jacob E. Ball, 27, of County Road 1, was sentenced by Judge Charles "Chuck" Cooper for the incident which occurred on Jan. 27, 2013.
