Prayer breakfast served today in Ashland church

ASHLAND -- An Ashland area community prayer breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. today at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 2901 Winchester Ave., Ashland.

The monthly meetings include a prayer session following a breakfast prepared by the host church. Donations also are collected for the Ashland Community Kitchen which served a hot meal at noon on weekdays for the needy. The meals are served at Calvary Episcopal Church at 14th Street and Winchester Avenue. The community kitchen also provides dinners on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
