Ohio University dance students participate in Youth Education Series

ASHLAND -- Ohio University School of Dance students from Athens choreographed dance routines for students Monday at the Paramount Arts Center as part of the Youth Education Series.

Students from Ironton Middle School, McKell Middle School and Wurtland Elementary School were in attendance at the program, said Heather Moore, director of education and outreach at the Paramount. It is about the fourth year the dance students from Ohio University, all seniors, performed at the Paramount in a program called graduating class on tour. The choreographers presented dances that showcased their interest in a wide variety of creative movement expressions.
