Jim Barach: Spring-like weather moves in for weekend
The weekend will start with partly cloudy skies and a nice warm up on Saturday. The high temperature could make it all the way to 70 degrees.
A cold front moving in Sunday will make for mostly cloudy skies and rain showers. The high temperature will still make it up to a very warm 65 degrees. Compared to the normal high temperature this time of year at 42 degrees, we are looking at a much warmer than normal weekend. The 42-degree normal high temperature represents the coolest time of the year by average.
Monday will also see mostly cloudy skies with rain showers. The high temperature will cool a bit to a still-warm 55 degrees. Tuesday will see some rain showers with a high temperature of 53 degrees. Cooler air will move back into the region on Wednesday. Skies will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. The high temperature will drop closer to the seasonal normal at 44 degrees.
