Football practice gets underway at Buffalo
BUFFALO, W.Va. -- High School football practice has started throughout the Mountain State.
The Buffalo Bisons have been hard at work under the leadership of head coach Mike Sawyer.
After going to the Class A playoffs for three consecutive, Putnam County's smallest high school struggled in a 0-10 season last year. Sawyer, entering his 13th season as head coach, and the team will try to improve their fortunes in 2014.
The Bisons will open the season at home versus Parkersburg Catholic on Friday, Aug. 29.
