23 felony arrests were made in July
HURRICANE, W.Va. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Department during the month of July responded to 1,325 calls for assistance, and made 23 felony arrest and 98 misdemeanor arrest, according to Sheriff Steve Deweese.
The Road Patrol also investigated 51 auto crashes, and issued 12 misdemeanor citations. In addition, the Road Patrol arrested 6 DUI's and completed 194 written complaints.
There were also 36 warrants and 31 Domestic Violence Petitions served.
Home Confinement averaged 39 inmates with 248 home verifications and Western Regional Jail averaged 107 inmates per day. Process division served 362 civil papers. Tax Office accepted 76 concealed carry permits and issued 62 permits. There were 984 DMV decals also issued.
