Ironwood Wealth Management is the Chamber Business of the Month for July

The Ironwood tree is native to West Virginia and has been a staple in the Eastern United States for many centuries. Due to its durability and strength, it was commonly used by American Indians and early settlers to forge a new world. The Ironwood tree grows slowly but surely in the shadows of the big oaks and pines where its extremely hard wood and branch structure make it nearly impervious to damage that can harm the bigger, less stable trees. While not as big or widely known as some of the larger trees, Ironwood has been called upon when its strength is needed.

"A typical 401K offered in this area has a total all in cost of around 2 percent a year. We will be able to provide a 401K in many cases for below 1 percent. A 1 percent difference may not seem like a lot but if it's spread over many years, it can be hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings. All else equal, that savings can mean a lot more money for the participants to retire on," he said.
