HURRICANE -- Sar Shalom Bible Center, 200 Morris Court, Hurricane, will host a Purim event at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 16.
The Festival of Purim (meaning lots), celebrates the biblical story of Queen Esther and how she saved her people. The theme of this year's event is "Religion is Black and White . . . But as the Diamond Turns."
Guests are encouraged, but not required, to dress up in non-provocative or non-evil costumes. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
