Juggler to appear in Scott Depot

May. 10, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

SCOTT DEPOT -- Comedian and professional juggler, David Cain, will appear at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at Teays Valley Church of God for a "Ladies' and Girls' Dessert Night."

The cost is $2 per person.

Cain will also appear at the church on Mother's Day, May 12. He will offer special programs for children at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Cain has been a professional juggler for 31 years and has developed a program that uses juggling, comedy and audience participation to share God's Word in a creative and memorable way.

He has won 15 Gold medals at the International Jugglers' Association (IJA) Championships. He is a Guinness world record holder and has more than 20 world records. Cain has perfected his skills through more than 10,000 professional shows.

Cain has ministered with Focus on the Family and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and he has appeared as the opening act for many well-known Christian recording artists. He is the former president of the Christian Jugglers Association. He is the author of nine books about creative ways of sharing the Gospel.

In addition to traditional juggling using balls, rings, clubs, swords and other objects, he uses the arts of boomerang throwing, lasso spinning, whip cracking, ball spinning, balancing, plate spinning, Chinese Yo-yo manipulation, and countless other skills to give every audience a one-of-a-kind experience. By combining this vast array of skills with hilarious comedy, audience participation, and Biblical messages, he challenges and entertains at the same time.
