Putnam to host Leadership Seminar
HURRICANE — Regardless of your line of work, young professionals can gain useful information from Generation Putnam’s leadership seminar, according to a news release from organizers.
The day-long seminar is planned for Friday, March 22, at Strayer University. Led by Generation Putnam members Mandy Curry of MVB Bank and Brian Moore of Dinsmore & Shohl, the seminar topics will include the Top 10 principles of leadership, dealing with different personalities/generations in the workplace, time management, and relationship-building.
Chuck Stump will also present at lunch and there will be giveaways throughout the day.
“We decided to create this seminar to help develop existing and emerging leaders who will ultimately decide the future direction of our region,” Moore, of Dinsmore & Shohl, said in the news release. “Although it is called a leadership seminar, attendees will learn success skills that will help them in all aspects of their professional and personal lives. This is for anyone who wants to get ahead in life.”
The cost to attend the event is $40, and anyone may register.
“People from all occupations can benefit from the lessons of this seminar. It is not just for traditional businessmen and women,” Curry said.
