VBS offered at Winfield United Methodist
WINFIELD -- Please join Winfield United Methodist Church (behind McDonald's) for Power Lab's Vacation Bible School fun including sciency-oozy crafts, high-energy music and hyper-speed games while learning all about Jesus giving us the power to do anything!
The Bible school will be held Monday, July 21-Friday July 25. Come at 5:30 p.m. for a light dinner (donations accepted). VBS starts at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Christian musician coming to Scott Depot
SCOTT DEPOT -- Local Christian recording artist Peggy Siders will be featured at Teays Valley Church of God during the 6:45 p.m. service on Wednesday, July 2. Admission is free.
Siders will share her gift of music and her personal testimony with us. Peggy has been a resident of West Virginia for 18 years. She and her husband, Robert, along with their two children, worship at Cross Lanes Baptist Church, where they have been members for 12 years.
The community is invited to hear this inspirational singer.
Teays Valley Church of God is located at 4430 Teays Valley Road, just east of the Scott Depot exit.
Patriotic Parade in Scott Depot scheduled
SCOTT DEPOT -- Teays Valley Church of God in Scott Depot announces their first annual Patriotic Parade on the Future Campus of the Teays Valley Community Center, located 4651 Teays Valley Road, just East of Rocky Step Road.
The parade will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 6.
All area residents are invited to enter a "float" in the parade. There will be a contest to determine the most "patriotic" entry. The winners will receive a complimentary pizza dinner at Husson's. Vehicles such as dirt bikes, pick-up trucks, go-carts, four-wheelers and kids' battery powered vehicles are welcome. Walkers with their leashed animals are also welcome.
